What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store so the site can recognise you on the next visit. It is not a program and it cannot read other files on your device. Cookies make the web usable — they remember your language choice, keep you logged in, and signal to the site which parts of the design you prefer. Cookies are stored by the browser, not by the website, which means you can see and delete them from your browser's settings at any time. Modern browsers offer per-site cookie management, aggressive automatic clean-up, and private windows that discard cookies when the window closes. Nothing on this site requires cookies to be enabled; the content is readable in any configuration. The consent banner respects a 'Do Not Track' header: if your browser sends it, we treat it as a decline and do not set the analytics cookie.

Changes to this policy
If we add, remove or change the cookies we use, we will update this page and re-prompt the consent banner so you can review the choice. The latest version of the policy is always the one here, with the date shown at the top.

Third-party cookies
When you click an outbound link to the Slots of Vegas cashier, the operator may set its own cookies. Those cookies belong to the operator and are described in its own cookie policy. We cannot read or write them. The same applies to any social media widget you interact with — the widget's cookies are set by the social network, not by us.

Which cookies we use
slots-of-vegas.net uses two kinds of cookies. The first is a strictly necessary cookie that records whether you accepted or declined the consent banner — without it we would ask you again on every page. The second is an analytics cookie that counts page views in an aggregated way; it does not store an identifier that we can trace back to you. We do not run advertising cookies, we do not re-target readers, and we do not sell data. The consent cookie is set once, with a one-year expiry, and renewed every time you confirm your preference. The analytics cookie, if accepted, is a first-party cookie with a thirty-day sliding window, and the data it records is aggregated into totals that cannot be de-anonymised back to a visitor. We do not keep server-side session data about readers and we do not try to connect browsing on this site with browsing on any other.

Affiliate cookies
Our tracked outbound links also pass a short attribution token through a redirect page on this site before handing you off to the operator. The redirect is cookie-less from our side; the attribution is made on the operator's end so that we are credited if you open an account. This is the only commercial mechanism on the site, and we document it on the disclosure page. The redirect page itself is served from this domain. It fires a short JavaScript that opens the operator's cashier URL with an attribution tag appended. The tag is random, not personal, and the operator maps it back to our account to pay the commission. The redirect page carries no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. The reason the redirect exists is simple: a direct link in the HTML of the page would leak the operator's address into search index snippets, which the operator considers private.
